Healthy Citrus Juice

Citrus-fruit juices have always been regarded as an essential part of any slimming plan. Here’s a quick, simple shake you can enjoy two or three times a day while following virtually any diet.

Healthy Citrus Juice Recipe

Serves 1-2

1 grapefruit

1 orange

300ml or 10fl oz soya milk

 

1. Squeeze the juice from the grapefruit and orange.

2. Mix with the soya milk and serve.

Masses of vitamin C and bioflavonoids from the fruit make this the ideal drink to boost your natural resistance and protect against coughs, colds, and flu. This is particularly important if you are restricted in your overall food intake, as you may be avoiding other sources of these nutrients.
