Orange Juicer Recipes – Delicious Healthy Orange Juice at Home

If you are a fanatical orange juice addict, then I think I would like to refer to you as an ‘orange juicer, and this page is full of healthy orange juicer recipes for you to experiment and have fun with. If you have recently discovered the delights of juicing, I am sure you will want to make these orange juicer recipes over and over again.

I have gathered together a selection of easy to make orange juicer recipes on this page, again having discovered some of them in books and magazines, and others have been created almost by accident.

Oranges are so delightfully sweet and can certainly be added to almost any vegetable juice to make them delicious and drinkable.

This first orange juice recipe is most definitely my favourite of all time:


‘Anything But Basic Orange’ Juice

  • 2 oranges
  • 1 apple
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 stick of celery

Fantastic for a boost of energy first thing in the morning, or simply as a refreshing thirst quencher on a hot summer’s day!  This combination of fruits and vegetables is a great way to introduce vegetable juice into your regime if you’re not totally sold on the idea of vegetables in your juices.

 

The combination is quite subtle, but the carrots and oranges compliment each other perfectly.

 

Nutritional content: beta-carotene, folic acid, vitamin C; calcium, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, sulphur.

 

‘Superjuice’ Juice

  • 4 oranges

Nothing comes anywhere near this juice – freshly squeezed orange juice – made yourself and drunk immediately. Fabulous!

Nutritional content: beta-carotene, vitamin C; calcium, magnesium,  phosphorus, potassium.

 

‘Orange Blueberry’ Juice

  • 2 oranges
  • 1pink grapefruit
  • 1 handful of blueberries

Using a sweet pink grapefruit in this orange recipe is far better than using a white one which I’m sure you would find too sharp. This is delicious.

Nutritional content: beta-carotene, biotin, folic acid, vitamins B1, B2, B6, C and E; calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, sulphur.

‘Vivid Orange’ Juice

  • 2 oranges
  • 4 carrots

Fabulous rich colour, fabulous rich refreshing taste!!

Nutritional content: beta-carotene, folic acid, vitamin C; calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, sulphur.

‘Orange Mix’ Juice

  • 2 oranges
  • 2 carrots
  • ½ cucumber
  • 1 stick celery

Light and refreshing – not too sweet – the vegetables seem to dilute the sweetness of the oranges.

Nutritional content: beta-carotene, folic acid, vitamin C; calcium, magnesium,  manganese, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, sulphur.

 

‘Power Packer’ Juiceguava

  • 3 oranges
  • 1 guava
  • 1 handful strawberries

Help keep illnesses at bay with this strong immune boosting, Vitamin C packed juice.

Nutritional content: beta-carotene, biotin, folic acid, vitamins B3 and C; calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, sulphur.


‘Orange ‘n’ Pear’ Juice

  • 2 oranges
  • 2 pears (a sweeter variety is best if possible)

Nutritional content: beta-carotene, folic acid, vitamin C; calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, sulphur.

‘Sharp Citrus’ Juice

  • 3 oranges
  • 3 oranges
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 lime

Great juice for a super boost for immunity.

Nutritional content: beta-carotene, folic acid, vitamin C; calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium.

‘Sweet Citrus’ Juice

  • 3 tangerines/clementines or mandarins
  • 2 oranges

Nutritional content: beta-carotene, folic acid, vitamin C; calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium.

‘Peppered Orange’ Juice

  • 3 oranges
  • ½ red or yellow bell pepper
  • 1 handful of watercress
  • 1 kale leaf

The sweetness of the oranges help to carry the subtle tastes of the vegetables in this juice, and please don’t let the muddy colour of this juice deter you from trying it.

Nutritional content: beta-carotene, folic acid, vitamin B3, C and E; calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, sulphur.

‘Orange Water’ Juicewatermelon

  • 3 oranges
  • 1 thick slice of watermelon

Light and refreshing.

Nutritional content: beta-carotene, vitamin C; calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, sulphur.

‘Blushing Orange’ Juice

  • 3 oranges
  • 1 apple
  • 1 handful raspberries

Delicious, tangy , refreshing and pink!

Nutritional content: beta-carotene, biotin, folic acid, vitamin C; calcium, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, sulphur, sodium.

Even if you weren’t a keen orange juicer before you tried these orange juice recipes, I guarantee you will be now.
