Soya with Saffron Smoothie Recipe

Soya with Saffron

Here’s a smoothie that’s simply bursting with nutritional value. Lots of protein, minerals, plant hormones, and all the digestive protection of honey are present in this mixture.

The saffron adds a wonderful colour, but it is also a mood-enhancer and helps improve digestion.

Throughout Asia, most women have a daily intake of some form of soya protein, and it is this component of their diets that is believed to protect them against heart disease, osteoporosis, hot flushes, and the other unpleasant symptoms of the menopause in later life.

The phytoestrogens in soya milk have a weak hormonal effect that is especially beneficial to women. Although soya extracts are now available as tablets, it’s far better to get these substances from food than from pills.

Like all nuts, almonds are a rich source of vitamin E, essential fatty acids, and minerals.
