‘Power Punch’

Here’s another super vitality juice with plenty of essential nutrients and some surprisingly potent natural phytochemicals from the coriander and spinach.

It makes an excellent drink for physically active people as it provides a boost of instant energy from the natural sugars in the carrots and kiwi fruit. It is also a good source of potassium – so important for muscle performance

4 carrots

1 kiwi fruit, washed

1 small handful fresh coriander, with stems

1 handful baby spinach leaves


1. Wash all the ingredients and peel, top, and tail the carrots (unless they’re organic). Leave the kiwi fruit unpeeled.

2. Put all the ingredients into a juicer, reserving a few coriander leaves.

3. Mix well and serve with coriander leaves on top.


Vital statistics

This vitality drinks provides a double dose of betacarotene and potassium from the carrots and kiwi fruit, along with extra magnesium and plenty of vitamin C. The spinach adds extra carotenoids and a powerful boost of cancer-fighting plant chemicals. The coriander contains heart and circulatory-protective coumarins and also an effective antiseptic essential oil called linalol.
